Farm Manager and Farmland Real Estate Associate

Location: Kankakee County, Illinois

Position Qualifications: Candidate must have an agricultural background, a bachelor’s degree or equivalent, preferable in an agricultural related discipline, and at least 4 to 6 years of directly related work experience. An Illinois of Indiana real estate sales or broker license and farmland appraisal experience is preferred.

Job Description: Responsibilities include managing a portfolio of farm properties for clients, performing farmland real estate brokerage activities, valuing farmland, consulting on agricultural related issues, and developing new business. The person should be a well organized self starter, with personal computer familiarity, and people skills required for working with clients and their advisors, vendors, and others in the organization. Primary area of activity will be in northern and central Illinois and Indiana.

Compensation: A competitive base salary plus bonus, new business incentives, employee benefits, and work related travel and other expense reimbursement.
